Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Announces 2025/2026 Admission Screening Dates and Requirements
The management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic has officially released the timetable for its much-anticipated National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the school, the screening will run for three days:
- Dates: Wednesday, September 17 – Friday, September 19, 2025
- Time: 9:00 am daily
- Venue: Applicants’ respective departments
The Polytechnic management has strongly advised all applicants to arrive early, noting that lateness could cost them their chance at the exercise.
Documents Required for Screening
To ensure a smooth process, candidates are expected to come prepared with all necessary documents. Below are the required credentials for each category:
For HND Applicants:
- ND statement of result
- Acknowledgement slip (proof of form purchase)
- WAEC/NECO result
- Letter confirming completion of Industrial Training (IT)
For ND Applicants:
- JAMB online result printout
- WAEC/NECO result
- Acknowledgement slip (proof of form purchase)
Important Notes for All Candidates
- Candidates must bring original copies of all credentials for verification.
- Screening officers will carefully inspect documents before clearance is granted.
- The list of successful candidates will be published afterward, and official notifications will be sent.
The Polytechnic emphasized that the exercise is designed to maintain both order and fairness, urging candidates to “come early, come ready, and keep your documents intact.”
