ABU Zaria Announces Final Mop-Up Post-UTME Screening for 2025/2026 Admission

If you missed Ahmadu Bello University’s (ABU) earlier Post-UTME test or recently changed your institution of choice to ABU, this is your last chance. The university has officially scheduled a mop-up Post-UTME screening for all eligible candidates.

According to the announcement, the exercise will take place on:

  • Date: Wednesday, 28th August 2025
  • Venue: Iya Abubakar Institute of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), ABU Zaria
  • Time: 8:00 AM prompt
  • Category: Candidates who missed the first screening or recently switched to ABU

Why This Mop-Up Screening Matters

ABU had earlier conducted Post-UTME screenings in July and August 2025, but not all candidates were able to participate. Some missed their scheduled dates, while others only recently selected ABU as their preferred university.

This mop-up screening is designed as the final opportunity for such candidates to prove their eligibility. The university has emphasized that there will be no second extension after this exercise.

For many students, this screening represents the last step before admission lists are released for the 2025/2026 academic session. Missing it could mean waiting another year.

What Candidates Should Do

Candidates are strongly advised to:

  • Arrive at the venue on time (before 8:00 AM).
  • Bring along all necessary documents, including JAMB slip, registration details, and valid ID.
  • Prepare adequately, as no excuses will be entertained after this date.

Final Word

ABU Zaria has thrown a lifeline to candidates who missed out earlier. Now, the responsibility lies with you—show up or risk losing your admission chance.

As the university put it: once this date passes, there will be no more “maybe later.”
