UNIPORT Opens 2025/2026 MSc in Medical Education Admission – How to Apply
The University of Port Harcourt’s Centre for Medical Research and Training (CENMERT) has officially announced the start of applications for its 2025/2026 Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Education programme.
If you’re passionate about advancing your career in medical education, this is your chance to join one of Nigeria’s most respected postgraduate programmes. But be warned — the application process is structured, and missing a step could cost you your admission.
Step 1: Pay Your Application Fee
Applicants must pay a ₦30,000 application fee into:
- Bank: U & C Microfinance Bank
- Account Name: Centre for Med Research and Training
- Account Number: 1100236526
Keep your payment teller safe — you’ll submit it alongside your forms.
Step 2: Download and Fill Required Forms
After payment, download and print the following forms in original colour from the official UNIPORT CENMERT links or application email:
- Application Form
- Three copies: Download Referee Form
- Download Transcript Label Form
Step 3: Prepare and Submit Your Documents
Submit two complete sets of your application, each containing:
- WAEC and/or GCE O’Level certificate
- First degree certificate and (if applicable) Diploma in Medical Education
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
- Payment teller for application fee
Also, request your academic transcript to be sent directly to CENMERT using the transcript label form you downloaded.
Step 4: Admission Offer & Acceptance Fee
If you are offered admission, you will receive your offer letter via email. To secure your spot:
- Pay the ₦20,000 acceptance fee into the same bank account above
- Present your payment proof to the CENMERT Office to collect your official admission letter
Step 5: Registration
Once you pay your school fees, you will receive your registration pack by email. Print it in original colour, attach all required documents, and submit them to complete your registration.
