Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) 2025/2026 Admission Now Open!
If you’ve ever dreamed of wearing the uniform and holding a university degree at the same time, this is your golden opportunity. The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano, has officially opened its portal for the 12th Regular Course admission for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Applicants who are admitted will embark on a five-year intensive program combining academic study and police training. At the end, successful cadets will graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree and be commissioned directly into the Nigeria Police Force as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Before diving in, make sure you meet the following requirements:
- Must be Nigerian by birth
- Must have a valid NIN
- Must have scored at least 180 in the 2025 JAMB and selected POLAC as first choice
- Must possess at least six credits (including English and Mathematics) in WAEC/NECO in not more than two sittings
- Age must be between 16 and 21 by October 31, 2025
- Must be physically and mentally fit
- Height requirements: Males: 1.67m, Females: 1.64m
- Chest measurement (males): minimum 86cm
- Must be single, not pregnant, and not married
- Must have a valid phone number and email address
- O’Level results before 2021 will not be accepted
How to Apply for POLAC 2025 Admission
Follow these steps carefully:
- Visit the POLAC admission site
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code
- Pay ₦6,000 at any commercial bank (covers application and CBT screening)
- Complete the online form
- Upload scanned copies of:
- O’Level results
- Birth certificate
- Certificate of origin
- Print out the completed application form and guarantor form
What Happens After You Apply?
1. CBT Aptitude Test
All applicants will write a computer-based test at the academy. The exact date will be communicated via email.
2. Physical Screening
If you pass the CBT, you’ll be invited for a physical screening with:
- Original documents
- Fitness certificate from a government-recognized hospital
- Reference from village or district head
- Local government certificate of origin
- Guarantor form signed by a senior officer (GL13/CSP or military equivalent)
3. Medical Screening
Shortlisted candidates from the physical screening will proceed to medical evaluations.
4. Final Interview

Duration and Final Outcome
