NNPC/SNEPCo 2025 Scholarship for Nigerian Undergraduates: How to Apply Now
If you’re a second-year student in a Nigerian university, here’s some good news: The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) are now accepting applications for their 2025 Undergraduate Scholarship Award.
This prestigious scholarship supports academically excellent students through their studies—covering key expenses from 200 level up to graduation. But it’s not automatic, and it’s not for everyone. So if you’re eligible, this could be your golden ticket to stress-free schooling.
Who Can Apply?
Before you rush off to register, make sure you tick all the boxes below:
- You must be a Nigerian citizen
- Currently in 200 level (second year) at an NUC-accredited Nigerian university
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale
- Not currently benefiting from any other oil and gas scholarship
- Female students are strongly encouraged to apply
What’s in It for You?
The NNPC/SNEPCo scholarship provides annual financial support from the second year until you graduate—as long as you maintain your grades.
Here’s how it works:
- You apply online.
- If shortlisted, you’ll take a computer-based test (CBT).
- The top 10 candidates from each state and the FCT will be screened and verified.
- Final awards are issued after document verification.
This isn’t a cash giveaway—it’s a strategic investment in Nigeria’s future leaders. And yes, it can significantly ease your academic journey.
No Room for Fakes
Thinking of using fake documents? Don’t. Any falsified result or information leads to automatic disqualification—no second chances, no appeals.
Even after you win, your CGPA must stay above 3.5. Drop below that, and the scholarship stops.
