UNILAG Announces Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer for 2025/2026: See Who’s Eligible and How to Apply
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially opened the portal for inter and intra faculty transfers for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you’ve been rethinking your current course or feel like your true calling lies in another department, now is your chance to make that move.
Transfer form sales run from Monday, July 21 to Friday, August 8, 2025. This is a once-in-the-session opportunity, and the clock is already ticking.
Who Can Apply?
Not all students are eligible for a faculty transfer. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must have completed 200 level by the end of the 2024/2025 session
- Must have a minimum CGPA of 1.00
- Must possess the correct O’Level or A’Level subjects for your intended course
- Must submit your current result slip
Note: If you have poor attendance or a very low GPA, this route may not work for you.

From College of Medicine or Pharmacy
→ Faculty of Science
→ Faculty of Education (Science, Technical & Vocational Education, Human Kinetics)
→ Faculty of Social Sciences (Psychology)
From Faculty of Law
→ Faculty of Arts
→ Faculty of Education (Arts, Social Sciences, Educational Foundations, Management)
From Engineering
→ Faculty of Management Sciences (Actuarial Science)
→ Faculty of Education (Science or Technical Education)
→ Faculty of Science (Excluding Biochemistry, Computer Science, Geoscience, Microbiology)
From Faculty of Science
→ Faculty of Social Sciences (Psychology, Geography)

How to Apply for UNILAG Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer 2025
Step 1: Confirm Eligibility
Don’t throw away ₦20,000. Make sure you meet all the requirements before applying.
Step 2: Apply Online
- Visit the UNILAG website
- Log in with your student credentials
- Navigate to Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer
- Fill out the form
- Generate a Payment Advice with your RRR number
- Pay ₦20,000 at any commercial bank
Step 3: Complete Submission
- Return to the portal and print your filled transfer form
- Attach these documents:
- O’Level or A’Level result
- Statement of result
- Transfer form signed by both current and proposed HODs and Deans
- Make four copies and submit to the Academic Affairs Office, 6th Floor, Senate House, UNILAG
Final submission deadline: Friday, August 15, 2025
