FUNAAB Post-UTME & DE Admission 2025/2026 Begins — Cut-Off Marks, Requirements & How to Apply

If you’re aiming to study at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), your golden opportunity is here. The university has officially begun its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening for the 2025/2026 academic session — and the clock is ticking.

Whether you’re coming fresh from JAMB or upgrading with OND, HND, or A-level qualifications, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know — from cut-off marks to the exact steps for online registration.


Who Is Eligible to Apply?

UTME Candidates

You must:

  • Choose FUNAAB as your first choice during JAMB registration.
  • Score 160 or above in your UTME.
  • Possess five O’level credits in relevant subjects (in one or two sittings).

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

You’re eligible if you:

  • Have Upper Credit or equivalent in your previous qualification.
  • Selected FUNAAB as your first choice in JAMB.
  • Submit your transcript or certified statement of results to the Registrar on or before Friday, August 15, 2025.

Note: If FUNAAB doesn’t get your transcript, you won’t be considered for admission. No exceptions.

FUNAAB Departmental Cut-Off Marks (2025)

Different faculties have different JAMB score requirements. Here’s a summary:

  • Agriculture-related courses: 160 and above
  • Engineering, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Computing, Food Science, Veterinary Medicine: 200 and above
  • Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Home Science, Tourism: 180
  • Library Science, Cooperative Studies, Development Studies: 160 and above

Step-by-Step: How to Apply Online

Follow these steps carefully to avoid mistakes:

  1. Go to the FUNAAB admission portal
  2. Log in with your JAMB UTME or DE number
  3. Print the invoice with your REMITA Reference Number
  4. Pay ₦2,000 (excluding bank charges) online or at any REMITA-supported bank
  5. Return to the portal to complete the online form
  6. Review your details thoroughly, then submit
  7. Print your completed application form (with passport photo)

Important Notes:
