FUTA Post-UTME/DE 2025: Screening Begins July 25
The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. The screening portal opens Friday, July 25, 2025, and closes Friday, August 28, 2025.
If you chose FUTA as your first-choice institution in the 2025 UTME and scored 180 or above, you’re eligible to apply. Direct Entry candidates are also welcome.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for FUTA’s online screening, you must meet these basic requirements:
- Scored 180 and above in the 2025 UTME
- Chose FUTA as your first choice
- For DE: You must have the relevant A-level qualifications
- Have at least five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
- O’Level results must not be from more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or approved equivalents)
How to Apply for FUTA Post-UTME/DE 2025
Follow these steps carefully:
- Visit the FUTA website to access the Post-UTME/DE portal.
- Fill the online application form correctly.
- Submit the form and print your registration slip immediately.
- Double-check your JAMB registration number and full name to match the details on your JAMB profile — no mistakes allowed!
Pay the N2,000 Screening Fee
- Screening costs ₦2,000 only.
- Payment must be made via Remita through any commercial bank.
- Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code from the FUTA portal before heading to the bank.
Key Things to Note
- Upload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS.
- Ensure your JAMB result is also properly shared with FUTA on CAPS.
- All registrations and uploads must be completed by August 28, 2025.
- Candidates must be 16 years or older by September 30, 2025.
- If you’re not screened, you won’t be considered for admission — no exceptions!
