IAUE Post-UTME & Direct Entry 2025: Admission Now Open
Rivers State’s top teacher education university is now accepting applications for its 2025/2026 academic session.
If you scored 150 and above in your 2025 UTME, or you’re applying through Direct Entry (DE), you are eligible to apply for admission into Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE).
Even if you didn’t initially choose IAUE, you can still apply — just change your institution to IAUE on the JAMB portal before proceeding.

- Form Fee: ₦2,000 only
- Registration Starts: Monday, July 14, 2025
- Deadline: Sunday, August 10, 2025

Step-by-Step Guide to Apply
Step 1: Visit the IAUE Portal
Go to www.iaue.edu.ng
Click on “Undergraduate Studies” under the “Admission” menu.
Step 2: Begin Your Registration
- Click: 2025/2026 UTME/DE Screening Registration Portal
- Tap: Register for 2025/2026 Session UTME/DE Screening
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number
- If you chose IAUE initially, your details will appear.
- If you just switched to IAUE, fill the form manually.
- Submit a valid email and phone number
- Your login details will be sent to the email provided
Step 3: Pay the Screening Fee
- Log in to your dashboard
- Click “Pay Screening Fees” → Generate Invoice
- Pay securely online via Paystack
Step 4: Fill and Submit Your Form
- Click “Update Personal Data”
- Complete all required sections
- Print your registration slip as proof of application
- Save your username and password for future access
Important Note for Candidates with Awaiting Results
Once your O’Level results are out, upload them to both JAMB and IAUE portals. It’s mandatory for screening.
What Happens After Registration?
IAUE will conduct a hybrid screening exercise which includes:
- Physical verification of documents (O’Level/DE credentials)
- Ranking and biometric screening
- Venue: Main Campus, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt
- Date: To be announced via the university’s official website
Be Aware:
- Admission is 100% free. Do NOT pay anyone to “help you gain admission.”
- Parents and outsiders are not allowed in the screening area
- All submitted data must match your JAMB profile — avoid false information
