Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:
- 5 credit passes including English and Mathematics in WASSCE/NECO/GCE or equivalent
- PGD: Minimum of a First Degree or HND (Merit)
- Master’s: At least a Second Class Lower from a recognized university
- Ph.D.: Master’s degree with at least 60% or 4.00 CGPA
Bonus Tip: If your CGPA is lower than required, you may still qualify for a transitional M.A./Ph.D. track.
Important: Academic transcripts must be sent directly from your former institution to the GOUNI Postgraduate Office.
All applicants must pass the Postgraduate Entry Screening (PES).
Extra Entry Routes
- Transfer Students with a CGPA of 2.5/4.0 or 4.0/5.0 can apply.
- Visiting Students from other universities are welcome (with permission and transcripts from their home institution).
