BUK Announces Final Deadline for 2024/2025 Course Registration — No Extensions Allowed

By Starnet Education Room | July 7, 2025

Time is running out. Bayero University, Kano (BUK), has issued a final reminder to all undergraduate students: the registration portal for the 2024/2025 academic session will officially close at midnight on Monday, July 7, 2025. No extensions. No excuses.

BUK is making it crystal clear — if you fail to register your courses before the deadline, you’ll be forced to defer your studies until the next academic year. And no, there will be no grace period and no reopening of the portal.

What You Must Do Before July 7

To avoid any unpleasant consequences, every undergraduate must:

  • Complete your course registration online before the deadline.
  • Contact your level coordinator before and after registration.
  • Cross-check and confirm your registered courses.

Warning: If you make a mistake and don’t consult your coordinator, you bear full responsibility. Complaints or correction requests after the deadline will not be entertained.

What Happens If You Miss It?

If you fail to register on or before July 7, you’re automatically out for the session — plain and simple. That means:

  • No lectures.
  • No exams.
  • No late registration.

You’ll have to wait until the next academic year to continue.

Final Note from BUK Management

The university urges all students to:

  • Talk to your level coordinator immediately.
  • Double-check your course selections.
  • Ensure everything is correctly submitted before July 7.

Once the registration window closes, it’s closed for good.

Take Action Now

This isn’t the time to procrastinate. BUK is not shifting the goalpost. Take 30 minutes out of your day today and complete your registration. Save yourself from a full academic session setback.

Don’t delay. Don’t assume. Just register.
