The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially opened the portal for the printing of Call-Up Letters for all prospective corps members (PCMs) in the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream I. If you are part of this batch, it’s important to know how to access your Call-Up Letter and prepare for the upcoming orientation exercise.
What is the Call-Up Letter and Why is It Important?
The Call-Up Letter is an official document from the NYSC that informs you about your state of deployment, the date and location of your orientation camp, as well as other important details like the Officer-in-Charge of the camp. The letter is a crucial document you must present before reporting to your camp.
Portal Open for Printing: Here’s What You Need to Do
- For Online Registrants: If you registered online for the NYSC, you can print your Call-Up Letter directly from the NYSC Portal at http://portal.nysc.org.ng. Simply log in using your registered email and password, then click on the “Print Call-Up Letter” link.
- For Other Registrants: If you did not register online, you will need to collect your Call-Up Letter directly from your graduation institution.
Health Advisory and Other Important Reminders
- Health Advisory: All prospective corps members are advised to get immunized against cerebrospinal meningitis before reporting to camp. It’s crucial for your health and safety.
- Prohibited Items: NYSC rules are strict—prospective corps members are not allowed to bring vehicles, motorcycles, or bicycles to the camp.
- Important Documents: Make sure to bring your degree certificate, ID card, and professional license (if applicable) to camp. If you studied abroad, be sure to bring original copies of your credentials and travel documents. Any academic documents not in English must be translated.
Legal Notice: Failure to report for service or ineligible participation may lead to legal action, as stipulated in the NYSC Act.

- Visit the NYSC portal at http://portal.nysc.org.ng and then click on the Login here icon (https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc4/ResumePayment.aspx)

What to Bring to Camp:
- For Nigerian Graduates: Degree or HND certificates, personal identity card from your institution.
- For Foreign Graduates: Ensure your documents, including your international passport, are verified and available. Any academic papers not in English should have an official translation.
- For Medical and Allied Health Graduates: Bring your professional licenses or registration certificates from your professional body (e.g., doctors, pharmacists, nurses, etc.).
