Bingham University Set to Launch Pharm D. Program in 2024/2025 Academic Year
Bingham University has officially received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to offer a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) program, starting from the 2024/2025 academic session.
The green light for the new program came after a successful resource verification visit by an expert panel from the NUC in late 2023, ensuring the university met all the necessary standards for quality education in pharmacy.
In a letter addressed to the Vice-Chancellor, signed by Abubakar M. Girei, the Acting Director of Academic Planning at the NUC, the Commission confirmed the approval.
The Vice-Chancellor of Bingham University expressed gratitude to the NUC for the recognition, while also extending congratulations to the entire university community. He encouraged all staff members to remain dedicated to their roles as they work to make the new Pharm D. program a success.
This marks a significant milestone for Bingham University, paving the way for the next generation of pharmacy professionals in Nigeria.
