Delta State University (DELSU) Opens Applications for 2024/2025 Pre-Degree Programme: Your Pathway to 100-Level Courses
Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, is now accepting applications for its Pre-degree Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session. This programme is an excellent opportunity for students to prepare for 100-level admission into various courses at DELSU, with the exception of Medicine and Law.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the Pre-degree Programme, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: You must have at least five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, from the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent. These should be obtained in no more than two sittings.
- Course-Specific Requirements: For courses like Pharmacy, Nursing Science, and Medical Laboratory Science, the five credits must be obtained in one sitting.
- UTME Registration: Candidates must register for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), list DELSU as their first choice, and meet the required cut-off mark.
- Course Registration: It is essential that you apply for the same course both in the UTME and in the DELSU Pre-degree Programme.
Entrance Examination Details
- Date: The entrance examination will be a computer-based test, taking place on Tuesday, 21st January 2025 at the DELSU Examination Centre in Abraka.
- What to Bring: Candidates must bring a printed Photo Card and a pen to the examination.
How to Apply
The application process is straightforward:
- Payment: A non-refundable application fee of N20,000 is required. Candidates can generate a Delta State University virtual pin via the DELSU portal and complete payment through any authorized payment channel.
- Submission: After payment, candidates should submit their application online.
