ASUU-UDUS Announces Indigent Scholarship for Struggling Students

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) has opened applications for its prestigious annual indigent scholarship. This initiative is aimed at supporting students who are facing financial hardships but have demonstrated academic excellence.
Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is designed for registered students at Usmanu Danfodiyo University who meet the following criteria:
- Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial difficulty.
- Academic Standing: You must have a CGPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Current Enrollment: Only students registered at UDUS are eligible.
How to Apply
Interested students must submit a written application (not exceeding two pages) that includes:
- Full Name
- Course of Study
- State of Origin
- Explanation of Financial Need
Documents Needed
Along with your application, please attach the following documents:
- A photocopy of your current university ID card.
- A letter from your Head of Department confirming your CGPA for the previous academic session.
- A copy of your registration form for the current semester.
- Two recent passport-sized photographs.
