General Requirements:
To apply, candidates must meet the following basic requirements:
- O’Level Requirements: Minimum of five credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics (at no more than two sittings).
- Degree Requirements: Candidates should have a relevant undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification in their field of study.
Specific Programme Requirements:
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
- A Third Class Honours degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND) with Upper Credit in a related field.
- Master’s Degree (M.Sc., M.Ed., M.Eng.):
- A minimum of a Second Class Lower division undergraduate degree or an HND (Upper Credit) plus a Postgraduate Diploma.
- PhD Programme:
- A Master’s degree with a CGPA of at least 4.00 (5-point scale) or 3.00 (4-point scale) in a related discipline.
How to Apply:
The application process is simple and involves two stages:
- Stage 1: Pay the application fee of N25,000 through the Remita platform at www.remita.net.
- Stage 2: Complete the online application form on the MOUAU portal.
After completing the form, print the Transcript Application Label and send it to your previous institution to request your academic transcripts.
Submission of Documents:
Submit the following to the Postgraduate School:
- Completed application form
- Relevant documents
- PG file (available at PG Room F2)
- Transcripts (to be sent directly from your previous institution to the university)
