IMSU 2024/2025 Academic Calendar: Key Dates You Need to Remember
First Semester: November 2024 – March 2025
- November 8: Old students return to campus and begin securing accommodation.
- November 11: Registration and lectures for returning students officially kick off.
- November 15: New students arrive and secure accommodation; registration for old students closes.
- November 18-20: New student registration begins and concludes.
- November 21: Lectures begin for new students.
- November 25: Submission of Second Semester 2023/2024 results to departments and processing begins.
December 2024
- December 19-20: Orientation for new students takes place.
January 2025
- January 17: Final day to submit Second Semester 2023/2024 results to departments.
- January 31: Deadline for submitting results to the Registry (Examinations).
February 2025
- February 8: Matriculation ceremony for new students.
- February 28: End of Second Semester lectures for 2023/2024 session.
March 2025
- March 3-8: Revision period for all students.
- March 10-28: First Semester examinations begin and end.
Second Semester: April 2025 – August 2025
- April 11: Registration for all students opens.
- April 14: Lectures for the second semester begin.
- April 25: Registration closes.
May 2025
- May 23: Deadline for departments to submit First Semester 2024/2025 results.
