- Inter-Faculty Transfer: N3,000
- Inter-University Transfer: N5,000

- Inter-Faculty Transfers: Students must have completed two full sessions.
- Inter-University Transfers: Direct entry students need one full session.
Please note: Transfers are not allowed to the College of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Faculty of Law.
How to Apply for Transfers
For Inter-Faculty Transfers:
- Visit the ABU Portal.
- Log into your student account.
- Select Inter-Faculty Transfers from your dashboard.
- Pay the N3,000 fee via ATM card or print a slip for payment at a bank.
For Inter-University Transfers:
- Go to the ABU Transfer Forms Page.
- Fill out the transfer form online.
- Pay the N5,000 fee using an ATM card or by printing a transaction slip for bank payment.
Key Considerations for Applicants
- Eligibility: Students must have completed the required sessions.
- CGPA Requirements:
- Minimum CGPA of 1.00 for Inter-Faculty transfers.
- Minimum CGPA of 2.40 for Inter-University transfers.
- Transfer Levels: Applications are open to students at 200-level and above.
- Department Capacity: Transfers depend on available space in the desired department.
- University Entry Requirements: Ensure you meet ABU’s requirements for transfer.
