What You Need to Know

???? Focus Areas:
ACT Foundation is dedicated to supporting impactful projects that address vital issues in four key areas:

  • Health: Combatting diseases like malaria and cancer, and promoting maternal and child health.
  • Entrepreneurship: Enhancing vocational education, skills acquisition, and financial literacy.
  • Environment: Tackling waste management, and ensuring access to clean water and sanitation.
  • Leadership: Fostering youth leadership and thought leadership initiatives.

  • Open for Applications: Ongoing
  • Deadline: November 3, 2024

???? Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify, your organization must:

  • Operate within one of the four focus areas.
  • Be legally registered in an African country for at least two years.
  • Be a non-profit organization or a social enterprise with a focus on non-profit activities.
  • Maintain a governance structure outlined in your registration documents.
  • Demonstrate evidence of additional funding sources.
  • Have at least three part-time or full-time staff members.

❌ Ineligible Entities:

  • Individuals
  • Political groups
  • Organizations with a history of mismanaged funds
  • Entities involved in illegal activities or terrorism

How to Apply

Interested organizations will need to submit a detailed proposal, including a budget. Following an independent review, successful applicants will be invited for interviews and site visits.
