The general public is hereby notified that registration for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME screening is scheduled to be held from 15th August and ends on Wednesday 2nd October 2024. LATEST UPDATE: NSUK Extends Post UTME By 2 Weeks.  The Management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has graciously extended the ongoing Post UTME Screening Exercise which was billed to end on the 18th of September 2024, by two (2) weeks commencing from Thursday 19th September 2024 to Wednesday 2nd October 2024. 

A circular signed on behalf of the Registrar by the Deputy Registrar Academic Affairs Barrister Ramatu Ahmed Liman on the 16th of September 2024, states that the extension is to allow candidates experiencing challenges ranging from change of course/institution, NECO token, and other related issues key into the exercise.  The circular further urged the general public to kindly ensure that their wards take advantage of the kind gesture extended by the management of the University.

Candidates should also note that in addition to the POST-UTME Screening, they are expected to also upload their O’level for UTME candidates and 0/L and A/Level results for Direct Entry candidates on their JAMB profile to qualify to be considered for admission. Candidates Eligible for NSUK Post UTME/DE Screening.

To be eligible for the screening exercise, the candidate must have: Participated in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Direct Entry (DE) mode Examination (UTME) or applied through Have scored not less than 200 marks for Law, 180 for Community Health, Health Information Management, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering and 170 for all other programs.

The candidate must have chosen Nasarawa State University as the First Choice in the 2024 UTME. Possess a minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) and Nasarawa State University Diploma, Merit in Nigeria Certificate of Education, (NCE), Eight (8) Points in IJMB for Direct Entry, Possess at least five (5) “O” level credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.

However, candidates who did not choose Nasarawa State University as 1st Choice Institution are required to change to First Choice on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Portal to qualify for the screening. NSUK Mode of Screening. The Nasawara State University Keffi (NSUK) Screening will be a fully Online Screening Process. There will be no examination!

How to Apply for NSUK Post UTME or Direct Entry Screening.

Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of (N2,000.00) Two thousand Naira only through the following steps: Visit the Nasarawa State University 2024 Post-UTME Screening Portal at www.ug.nsuk.edu.ng/application

Create an account/Profile Set-up To create a Profile, fill in the open forms as follows: Click application type and select 2024/2025 POST- UTME application Create an e-mail address and password Login with the e-mail and Password used in creating an account/profile Select payment for Screening through the available options Provide/input your scratch card for the result obtained (NECO/NABTEB/WAEC/NBAIS) Application completed. Screening in Progress Check back after 24 hours for the result Print out the Application Summary/Payment Invoice. UPLOAD OF “O” LEVEL AND “A” LEVEL RESULT ON JAMB PROFILE: UTME and Direct Entry candidates should note that in addition to the above Post-UTME Registration, they are equally required to visit JAMB accredited CBT centers to upload their “O” Level/”A” Level results on their JAMB profile. NON-ACCEPTANCE OF ADMISSION ON CAPS AFTER (4) WEEKS Candidates are advised to monitor their admission on their JAMB profile.

There would be a grace period of four (4) weeks within which all approved admissions must be accepted by the candidates. Failure of such candidates to accept the admission, such admission will be deleted, and the candidate placed under the “refusal to accept category” punishable by ineligibility to be admitted again. Candidate should also note that POST-UTME Screening is MANDATORY. Any candidate who FAILS to participate will not be considered for admission.
