YSU Extends Late Registration Deadline for 2025/2026 Academic Session
Yobe State University (YSU) has granted students a one-week extension for late registration of the 2025/2026 academic session, the institution announced in an official notice on 13 February 2026.
The revised registration window will run from Monday, 16 February to Saturday, 21 February 2026, covering both new and returning students who have yet to complete the process.
Extended Registration Period
YSU emphasized that all students must finalize their registration within this new timeframe. The university’s academic calendar is strict, and no further extensions will be granted beyond 21 February 2026.
Who the Extension Affects
According to the Registrar’s Office notice, the extension applies to:
- New students yet to complete initial registration
- Returning students with pending registration
This extension provides a final opportunity for students to ensure their enrollment for the ongoing academic session.

YSU urges all affected students to act promptly and complete their registration before the Saturday, 21 February 2026 deadline. Missing the deadline will result in forfeiting the opportunity, as no additional extensions will be considered.
