KASU Announces 2025/2026 Matriculation Dates for Main and Kafanchan Campuses
Kaduna State University (KASU) has officially released the timetable for its 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony, marking a major milestone for newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate students across its campuses.
The ceremony, organised by the Office of the Registrar, will be held on two separate dates at the Main Campus and the Kafanchan Campus, with all arrangements already in place.
Two Campuses, Two Dates: What to Know
Main Campus Matriculation (Undergraduates & Postgraduates)
- Date: Monday, 9 February 2026
- Time: 10:00 a.m.
- Venue: 1000-Seat Auditorium, Main Campus
Kafanchan Campus Matriculation
- Date: Wednesday, 11 February 2026
- Time: 11:00 a.m.
- Venue: 500-Seat Auditorium, Kafanchan Campus
Matriculation Theme Sets the Tone
The 2025/2026 ceremony will be held under the theme:
“Marching to Excellence: Embracing Emerging Technologies, Upskilling/Reskilling.”
According to the university, the theme reflects KASU’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and preparing students for a rapidly evolving global workforce.
Vice-Chancellor Invites University Community, Public
The Vice-Chancellor of Kaduna State University, Professor Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, PhD (Emporia, USA), MLA (ABU), MBA (BUK), BL (BUK), has formally invited members of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staff, students, and the general public to witness the matriculation ceremony.

Academic Gown Collection: Important Instructions
For Undergraduate Students
All undergraduate matriculating students are advised to contact their respective colleges and faculties for the collection of their academic gowns.
For Postgraduate Students
Postgraduate students are to collect their academic gowns from:
- Room 7, College of Postgraduate Studies
- Main Campus, Kaduna
Students are encouraged to collect their gowns early to avoid last-minute delays.
