Kano State Polytechnic Releases Full Registration Guide for 2025/2026 Session

Kano State Polytechnic has officially released a comprehensive registration procedure for fresh and returning National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The registration process covers portal payments, departmental screening, union dues, MIS activation, and bursary authentication, and applies to all ND and HND programmes offered by the institution.

Below is a clear, step-by-step breakdown designed to help students complete their registration smoothly without missing any requirement.

Registration Fees at a Glance

  • Admission Acceptance Fee (Fresh Students Only): ₦10,000
  • Union Dues (Fresh & Returning Students): ₦1,500 (paid at Micro Finance Bank)

Registration Procedure for Fresh ND & HND Students (2025/2026)

Step 1: Accept or Reject Admission

Candidates must log in to their admission portal to accept or reject the admission offer.

Step 2: Pay Acceptance Fee and Print Admission Letter

Before printing the Polytechnic admission letter, fresh students must pay:

  • Acceptance Fee: ₦10,000

After payment, print the admission letter.

Step 3: Accept Admission on JAMB Portal (ND Students Only)

  • Log in to the JAMB CAPS portal
  • Accept the admission
  • Print the JAMB Admission Letter

(This step applies to ND students only.)

Step 4: Departmental Screening and Stamping

Students should proceed to their respective departments for:

  • Physical screening
  • Signing and stamping of admission letters

Step 5: Pay Union Dues

Proceed to Micro Finance Bank and pay:

  • Union Dues: ₦1,500

Keep the payment teller safely.

Step 6: School Assessment (Students Affairs Unit)

Visit the Students Affairs Officer in your school with neat photocopies of the following:

  • Screened Polytechnic admission letter
  • JAMB admission letter (ND only)
  • NBTE admission letter (HND only)
  • Union dues payment teller
  • Copies of all original credentials
  • Passport photograph

Step 7: MIS Account Activation

Proceed to the MIS Unit for student account activation.

Step 8: Complete Online Registration on KanoPoly SRMS portal 

Log in to the Kano State Polytechnic SRMS portal and complete the following:

  • Pay central registration fee
  • Pay departmental registration fee
  • Print payment receipts
  • Print Course Registration Form (CRF)
  • Print Student Examination Card

Step 9: Library Registration

Proceed to the Polytechnic library for official library registration.

Step 10: Bursary Payment Authentication

Visit the Bursary Department at the Central Administration for payment authentication.

Step 11: Final Departmental Documentation

Return to your department with:

  • Two (2) copies of all credentials
  • Two recent passport photographs

This completes the registration process for fresh students.

Registration Procedure for Returning ND & HND Students

Step 1: Collect Clearance Form

Visit your department to collect the clearance form.

Step 2: Pay Union Dues

Proceed to Micro Finance Bank and pay:

Log in to the KanoPoly SRMS portal and:

  • Pay central registration fee
  • Pay departmental registration fee
  • Print receipts
  • Print CRF
  • Print examination card

Step 5: Authenticate Payment at Bursary

Proceed to the Bursary Department for payment authentication.

Step 6: Submit Evidence to Department

Submit all authenticated payment evidence and registration documents to your department for final confirmation.
