The event is designed to formally welcome freshers into university life and equip them with essential information for a smooth academic journey.

According to the university, the orientation will hold on a single day, with a fixed time and venue, and attendance is compulsory for all eligible students.

UNIPORT Orientation Date

The orientation programme will take place on Tuesday, 20 January 2026.

Time

Activities are scheduled to begin at exactly 10:00 a.m.
Students are advised to arrive early, as late entry may disrupt seating arrangements and the orderly conduct of the programme.

Who Should Attend

The orientation is strictly for:

  • Duly registered first-year students of UNIPORT
  • Students admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session

The university emphasized that this is an official academic event, not a casual gathering, and should be treated with the seriousness it deserves.

What to Expect at the UNIPORT Orientation

During the programme, first-year students will have the opportunity to:

  • Interact directly with university management and key officials
  • Receive clear guidance on rules, regulations, and expectations governing student life
  • Ask questions and get first-hand clarification on academic and campus-related issues

Students are encouraged to come prepared with questions, as the session is structured to be interactive, informative, and student-focused.

Attendance Is Mandatory

UNIPORT has made it clear that attendance is mandatory for all first-year students. Participants are expected to be fully present and actively engage in the discussions. Missing the orientation is not presented as an option.

Freshers are advised to take note of the details and make adequate preparations to attend, as the orientation marks a key step in their transition into university life at UNIPORT.
