SAZU Yuli Campus Opens New Female Hostel: Students Must Form Groups of Six, Pay Within 3 Days
Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Bauchi State, has officially launched the accommodation process for its newly constructed female hostel at the Yuli Campus, setting out clear rules on grouping, submission, and payment timelines.
The directive was issued in an internal memo signed by the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, announcing that eligible female students who wish to stay in the new hostel must strictly follow the approved process to secure a room.
What the SAZU Hostel Notice Is About
The Student Affairs Division says the new hostel is now ready for allocation, but students must comply with a group-based reservation system designed to ensure fair and smooth distribution of rooms.
Only eligible female students seeking accommodation in the new female hostel at Yuli Campus are covered by the notice.
Step 1: Form Groups of Six Per Room
Under the new arrangement, each hostel room will be shared by six students.
This means interested students must:
- Organise themselves into groups of six, and
- Treat each group as one single reservation unit.
According to SAZU, this grouping system will help streamline room allocation and prevent confusion during the reservation process.
Step 2: Submit Group Details to Student Affairs
Once a group is formed, the next step is submission.
All group information must be submitted to the Student Affairs Office. Without this submission, no room can be reserved or confirmed for any student.
The memo makes it clear:
No submission, no allocation.
Step 3: Pay Within Three Days After Confirmation
After Student Affairs confirms a group’s room reservation, payment must be made within three (3) days.
This deadline is:
- Not counted from the day you submit your group,
- But from the day your room is officially confirmed.
Failure to pay within this period could lead to the loss of the allocated room.
