MAU Guides New Students on NELFUND Loan Data Capture for 2025/2026
Modibbo Adama University (MAU) has released a crucial memo for newly admitted students in the 2025 and 2026 sessions detailing the steps required before accessing the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) portal.
The notice emphasizes that every new student must first complete an internal institutional data capture form. This step allows MAU to upload each student’s biodata and admission details to the NELFUND platform, ensuring records are ready for future verification.
Data Capture Process for Loan Applicants
According to the memo signed by Dr. Munzali A. Abana, Acting Director of ICT at MAU, students must carefully fill all fields on the form. The completed form enables the ICT team to place student records on the NELFUND server. The process begins via the QR code provided in the notice or through the official link shared by the university.
Steps Before Submitting a NELFUND Loan Request
MAU clarifies that filling out the institutional data capture form does not count as a loan application. It is a preparatory step that grants the university permission to upload student records to NELFUND. Once the upload is complete, students can proceed to the NELFUND portal to submit their official loan requests.
Support and Contact Points at MAU
The ICT Directorate encourages all students to complete the form promptly to ensure a smooth loan processing experience. Students requiring assistance can visit the NELFUND Desk Office at the ICT Centre or reach out via email at [email protected].
