The Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB) has officially released the full academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session. The schedule provides essential guidance for both new and returning students, covering registration, lectures, exams, breaks, and other academic activities.
First Semester Highlights
- Registration & Acceptance Fees: Monday, 24 November – Sunday, 14 December 2025 (3 weeks)
- Late Registration: Monday, 15 December – Monday, 22 December 2025 (1 week)
- Lectures: Monday, 5 January – Saturday, 14 March 2026 (10 weeks)
- Matriculation for New Students: Tuesday, 3 February 2026
- Orientation for New Students: Wednesday, 4 – Thursday, 5 February 2026 (2 days)
- Lecture Continuation & Revision: Monday, 23 March – Sunday, 12 April 2026 (3 weeks)
- First Semester Exams: Monday, 13 – Saturday, 25 April 2026 (2 weeks)
- Meeting on Exam Misconduct: Monday, 27 April 2026
- Semester Break: Monday, 27 April – Sunday, 17 May 2026 (3 weeks)
