UNIZIK Opens 2025/2026 Supplementary Admission Window — See Eligible Courses and Key Deadlines

Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has officially begun the sale of its supplementary admission form for the 2025/2026 academic session, offering UTME candidates a new chance to secure placement into alternative departments. The university announced that the process is open exclusively to applicants who completed the Post-UTME registration but have not yet received admission from any department.

The application window will remain open until 3 p.m. WAT on Friday, December 5, 2025, and the institution warns that only candidates without an existing admission offer are eligible to participate.

What UNIZIK’s Supplementary Admission Really Means

UNIZIK’s supplementary (popularly called shopping) exercise is designed for candidates seeking entry into other available programmes. The university emphasizes that intra-university transfer is only possible after two years of study, making this supplementary round the key official pathway for students who wish to switch departments before admission.

Candidates taking part are advised to:

  • Check the Transfer Approval panel on JAMB CAPS frequently and accept immediately once a change appears.
  • Ensure their O-level results are correctly uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
  • Review available departments carefully, as the supplementary list spans education, arts, sciences, social sciences, engineering, medical/health sciences, and management-related disciplines.
