NSUK Releases 2025/2026 Academic Calendar for Part-Time Weekend Programmes

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has officially released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session for all B.Sc., B.A., and B.Ed. part-time weekend programmes under the Centre for Continuing Studies.

The new schedule outlines every major academic activity—from registration and lectures to assessments, public holidays, and examinations—giving students a clear roadmap for the coming session. This structured calendar is expected to help both fresh and returning learners plan effectively and manage their study timelines with confidence.


First Semester Academic Calendar (2025/2026)

Registration & Lecture Activities

  • Registration begins: 1 December 2025
  • Late registration starts: 26 January 2026
  • Start of lectures: 6 February 2026
  • End of late registration: 8 February 2026

Student Engagement Activities

  • Matriculation for new students: 6 March 2026
  • Orientation for new students: 7 March 2026

Public Holidays

  • Eid el Fitr: 20–21 March 2026
  • Good Friday: 3 April 2026
  • Workers’ Day: 1 May 2026

Assessments & Exams

  • Continuous assessment: 8–9 May 2026
  • Revision week: 15–16 May 2026
  • Start of examinations: 21 May 2026
  • Democracy Day holiday: 12 June 2026
  • End of examinations: 13 June 2026

Semester Break
