YABATECH CODFEL Course Registration Made Easy
Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has released an official guide for CODFEL course registration for the 2025/2026 academic session. The step-by-step instructions ensure students follow the correct process, pay the right fees, and avoid errors that could lead to deleted courses or fines.
Here’s everything students need to know:
Step 1: Access the CODFEL Registration Portal
- Visit portal.yabatech.edu.ng.
- Select the CODFEL registration option or navigate via the “Student” menu on the main college website.
- Note: Opening the portal does not complete registration.
Step 2: Pay Statutory Fees
- Before selecting courses, statutory fees for the session must be paid.
- On the CODFEL landing page, click “Make Statutory Payment”.
- Without this payment, access to course registration is blocked.
Step 3: Log In and Select Courses
- After payment, click “Commence Registration”.
- Log in using your assigned credentials.
- Select courses according to your department-approved course structure and credit units.
Step 4: Review and Pay CODFEL Fees
- Confirm the selected courses on the review page.
- The CODFEL fee depends on the total credit units chosen.
- Make payment only after verifying course selections to avoid errors or additional steps later.
Step 5: Submit Registration
- Go back to the CODFEL Online Access Center and click “Submit Registration”.
- Registration is incomplete until this step is done, even if payment has been made.
Step 6: Print Course Form on the General Portal
- After submission, log in to the general student portal.
- Select “Print Course Registration” to obtain your official course form.
- Avoid using “Register My Courses” or “Unlock Course” on the general portal for CODFEL courses. Unauthorized actions may delete registered courses or attract penalties.
Adding Extra Courses After Initial Registration
- Visit the CODFEL office in person for additional courses.
- Request an invoice, make the payment, and return with proof of payment and a written course list.
- Only the CODFEL office can process additional course units.
Avoid Illegal Updates and Fines
YABATECH warns that attempts to update or unlock course forms outside the approved channels are considered illegal and may:
- Delete previously registered CODFEL courses
- Attract fines
