It should be recalled that a federal state is the onewhich governmental powers that exist in the country are shared between acentral government of component units (regions, province or states),so that each government independent and autonomous as provided by theconstitution. The powers were shared as follows:a) Exclusivelist- all the powers and functions in the exclusive list are exercised by thefederal or central government only.
