As the disciples panicked over the imminent danger, Jesus was deep asleep in the boat. The disciples alerted him saying, Teacher, do you not care if we perish? Jesus rebuked the wind and said to the sea "Peace" Be still, and the win ceased. Jesus blamed the disciples for their lack of faith. Why are you afraid? Have you no faith? queried Jesus. The disciples were surprised at this and wondered what nature of Jesus was because even the v.- - and the sea obeyed Him. Matthew 3:23-27
