Explanation

God had given all kinds of gifts to Adam and Eve. But He wanted to know if they really loved Him very much. He gave them a test to see if they would obey Him. God said, you have all kinds of fruits on your farm. You can eat of all, except one. If you eat that one you will lose my friendship, my divine life. Then you will no more be my children. Now the devil was jealous of the happiness of Adam and Eve. He took the form of a big snake and spoke to them, He said to the woman. Why don't you eat that fruit? She said because God has forbidden. The devil said not at all, if you eat it you will be like God. You will know what is good and what is evil. Eve believed him, took the fruit and gave some to Adam. Immediately, they saw they were naked and hid.in the bush. Genesis 3:1-24
