Darwins theory of evolution is summarised below as Living organisms reproduce very fast when the environment is very favourable (abundant food).ii. The increase in number of  results in competition for space, food etc.iii. Competition results in the survival of the fittest. Organisms that are stronger or better fitted survived while the weak ones die away. iv. The ones that survive do so because they have certain characteristics or variation which others do not have.v. These advantageous variations or characteristics are preserved and passed on to subsequent generation.
