Obturator foramen is an opening found at each half of the pelvic girdle through which the blood vessels and nerves of the hip pass. Each half of the pelvic girdle called innominate bone is composed of three parts or bones namely, ilium, pubis and ischium. All these parts are used for the attachment of muscles of the hip.
