YABATECH Post UTME 2025/2026: Application Begins for ND and B.Sc. Programmes
Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), one of Nigeria’s leading polytechnics, has officially opened its doors for the 2025/2026 Post UTME screening exercise. This opportunity is for candidates who sat for the 2025 UTME and are seeking admission into the Full-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes or the B.Sc. (Ed.) Technical Education degree programmes offered in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
This year’s admission covers both 100-level and 200-level (Direct Entry) slots for eligible students.
Who Is Eligible for YABATECH Post UTME 2025/2026?
To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- First Choice Institution: YABATECH must be selected as the first choice in JAMB.
- UTME Score: Candidates must score 160 and above in the 2025 UTME for both ND and B.Sc. degree (100-level) programmes.
- Direct Entry: Those applying for the B.Sc. degree (200-level) via Direct Entry must also register on the YABATECH portal.
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be 16 years or older by September 30, 2025. Those below this age are advised not to apply.
- Change of Institution: Applicants who initially chose YABATECH as second or third choice must change it to first choice on the JAMB portal before proceeding.
How to Apply for YABATECH Post UTME
Interested candidates should carefully follow these steps to avoid mistakes:

- Click on the link: “POST UTME SCREENING 2025/2026.”
- Follow the portal instructions to complete your online registration.
- Pay the non-refundable processing fee of ₦2,000 (excluding result verification, bank, or online charges).
- Payments can be made online or at any designated bank.
- Note: The college does not accept cash payments directly.
Important Instructions for Applicants
- Provide accurate personal details during registration. Errors are the candidate’s sole responsibility.
- Ensure that the names on O’level results, UTME slips, and other documents match. Any discrepancy may lead to disqualification.
- Uploaded passport photos and documents must be clear and consistent.
Application Deadline
The application portal will remain open for six weeks, starting from September 8, 2025. Candidates are strongly encouraged to apply early and avoid last-minute rush.
