UNN Releases 2024/2025 Admission List: What You Need to Know and How to Accept Your Offer

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the Shopping and Advert Admission List for the 2024/2025 academic session. This list includes the names of candidates who have been granted provisional admission into various degree programs.
If you’re one of the lucky candidates, here’s everything you need to know about checking the list and completing the next steps to confirm your admission.
How to Check the Admission List
The Shopping and Advert Admission List is now available online. To access it, visit the UNN Shopping and Advert Admission List. Simply search for your name to see if you’ve been offered provisional admission.
Steps to Complete Your Admission Process
If you find your name on the list, congratulations! But before you can officially begin your studies, you must complete a few important steps. Here’s what you need to do:
- Upload Your O/Level Results on the JAMB Portal
- Visit a JAMB-approved CBT center to upload your O/Level results.
- Make sure you submit proof of the upload and your JAMB CAPS admission status to the UNN Admissions Office. Without this, your admission cannot be processed.
- Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS
- Log in to the JAMB Portal and click on “Accept Admission” to confirm your offer.
- Important: If you do not accept the offer on JAMB CAPS, you will not receive an official admission letter from JAMB.
- Generate Your Payment Invoice
- Log in to the UNN Portal using your JAMB registration details.
- Generate and download a Payment Invoice that includes a Remitta number. This invoice is required for payment at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.
- Pay the Acceptance Fee
- The acceptance fee is N30,000. Pay this fee at any commercial bank, ensuring you use the correct invoice number.
- After payment, collect a confirmation slip containing both your confirmation number and invoice number.
- Print Your Admission Slip and Complete the Acceptance Form
- Log in again to the UNN Portal with your JAMB registration number, confirmation number, and invoice number.
- Print your admission slip and complete the online acceptance form.
- Proceed with Course Registration
- Follow the instructions on the UNN website to pay other required fees and complete your course registration.
Important Information for All Candidates
- Provisional Admission: Your admission is provisional, meaning it can be withdrawn if you are later found to lack the necessary qualifications.
- Deadline for Acceptance: You must accept your admission within two weeks of the announcement. The final date for accepting the offer is Friday, 7th February 2025. Missing this deadline means forfeiting your admission.
