UNN Publishes 2023/2024 Admission List

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has published the long-awaited admission list for the 2023/2024 academic session on its website.

Thousands of candidates who sat for the UNN post-UTME screening exercise and other admission selection processes can now check if they have been offered provisional admission into their preferred courses and departments.

To access the admission list, candidates are required to visit the university’s website (www.unn.edu.ng), click on the “Admissions” tab, and follow the instructions to input their UTME registration numbers.

Successful candidates will see their names, courses admitted for, as well as other vital information and next steps regarding acceptance of admission, payment of acceptance fees, and resumption details.

The admission exercise saw UNN receiving over 40,000 applications to fill a little over 8,000 available spaces across various programs for the new academic session.

A statement by the university management urged admitted candidates to accept their offers within the stipulated timeframe. It also congratulated successful applicants while encouraging those not admitted to explore other opportunities or apply again in future cycles.

As one of Nigeria’s premier universities, admission into UNN is highly competitive, with only candidates who excel in both the UTME and post-UTME screening exams gaining admission.

University authorities have reiterated their commitment to upholding merit and transparency in the admission process in line with laid down guidelines by regulatory bodies.

Parents, guardians, and concerned stakeholders have been directed to the university’s website and official communication channels for updates and inquiries regarding admissions.

The 2023/2024 academic session is expected to commence in October after the mandatory orientation program for new students.
