UNN Opens 2025/2026 Change of Course (Shopping) Portal

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially announced the commencement of its Shopping/Change of Course exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This opportunity gives candidates who selected UNN as their first-choice institution in the 2025/2026 UTME but were not offered admission a second chance to apply for available slots in various faculties.


Who Can Apply

According to the university, only candidates who:

  • Scored at least 160 in both UTME and Post-UTME, and
  • Have an average score of not less than 160,

will be eligible to apply for the shopping/change of course process.

Applicants must also have sat for the appropriate UTME subject combination for their desired courses.

How to Apply for UNN Shopping/Change of Course

Eligible candidates are to complete their applications through the official UNN portal by following these steps:

  1. Visit UNN Portal.
  2. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number to generate a payment invoice with a Remita number.
  3. Pay ₦10,000 (Advert/Shopping Processing Fee) at any commercial bank using the Remita number.
  4. Obtain a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.
  5. Return to the portal and complete the Change of Course Form using your JAMB and invoice details.

Application Period:

  • Opening Date: Monday, 20th October 2025
  • Closing Date: Friday, 24th October 2025

Important Notes

  • Candidates must meet the departmental entry requirements of their chosen courses.
  • Applicants who gain admission through this process cannot change courses again during the 2025/2026 academic session.
  • All applicants are advised to fill their forms carefully to avoid disqualification.
