UNN Extends Post-UTME Registration Deadline for 2025/2026 Admission
Good news for aspiring University of Nigeria (UNN) students! The management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, has officially extended the deadline for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening registration.
Originally scheduled to close on Friday, August 15, 2025, the registration portal will now remain open until midnight of Sunday, September 7, 2025.
This extension gives candidates extra time to complete their applications, update O’Level results, and ensure all documents are properly uploaded.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the 2025/2026 UNN Post-UTME screening, you must:
- Have chosen UNN as your first choice in JAMB.
- Score 160 or above in the 2025 UTME.
Who Should Not Apply?
UNN has warned that certain candidates are not eligible for the screening. These include:
- Applicants under 16 years of age as of September 30, 2025.
- Candidates still waiting to write the Nov/Dec 2025 NECO or GCE exams.
- Applicants with name mismatches between their O’Level and JAMB records.
The university emphasized that all applicants must have their documents in order before applying, as corrections will not be allowed later.
How Much Is the Form?
The screening fee is ₦2,000 only. Payment can be made through Remita at any commercial bank or online using an ATM card.
Step-by-Step Guide to Register for UNN Post-UTME 2025/2026
- Visit the UNN official website
- Click on UNN Portal (top right).
- Select Prospective Students.
- Choose Online Application Form for 2025/2026 Admission Screening.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Generate your payment invoice.
- Pay via bank or ATM card.
- Return to the portal and log in with your JAMB number.
- Fill in your personal details, date of birth, and verified O’Level results.
- Enter your exam number and centre.
- Upload the required documents (each file must not exceed 100KB).

- Birth Certificate
- Local Government Identification Certificate
- Primary School Testimonial
- First School Leaving Certificate
- JAMB Result Slip
- O’Level Results (single or double sitting)
- Direct Entry Result (if applicable)
Important: Once you submit your application, you cannot edit it. Be sure all details are correct before final submission.
Finally, print your Acknowledgment Slip to confirm your registration.
Direct Entry Applicants
All Direct Entry (DE) candidates must also complete the registration process. Note that your result must already be verified by NIPEDS, JAMB’s official result verification platform.
