UNN Announces Direct Entry Admission Lists for 2024/2025 Academic Session – What You Need to Know

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the Direct Entry admission lists for the 2024/2025 academic session. If you’re a Direct Entry candidate, this is your opportunity to check if you’ve made it to the prestigious institution.

Steps to Complete Your Admission Process

If you’ve been offered admission, it’s time to take action! Follow these steps to secure your spot at UNN.

1. Upload O’Level Results

• Visit a JAMB-approved CBT centre to upload your O’Level results.
• Submit proof of upload and your JAMB CAPS admission status to the UNN Admissions Office.
• Important: Your admission processing will not continue if this step is missed.

1. Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS

• Log in to your JAMB CAPS portal and accept the admission offer.
• Failure to accept your offer on JAMB CAPS will result in no JAMB admission letter.

1. Generate Payment Invoice

• Log into the UNN Portal using your JAMB registration details.
• Generate a payment invoice that includes a Remita number.
• You can pay at any commercial bank or the UNN Microfinance Bank.

1. Pay the Acceptance Fee

• The acceptance fee is N30,000.
• Ensure to use the correct invoice number when making the payment at the bank.
• Collect a confirmation slip with both your Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.

1. Print Your Admission Slip and Complete the Acceptance Form

• Log into the UNN portal again using your JAMB registration number, Confirmation Number, and Invoice Number.
• Print your admission slip and fill out the acceptance form.

1. Proceed with Other Fees and Registration

• Visit the UNN website for further instructions on additional payments and course registration.

Important Information to Keep in Mind

• Provisional Admission: Your admission is provisional. If it’s found that you don’t meet the required qualifications, your admission will be withdrawn.
• Deadline for Acceptance: You must accept the admission offer within two weeks of the announcement. The final deadline for accepting your offer is Friday, 21st March 2025. If you don’t accept by this date, you will forfeit your admission.
