UNN Announces Admission Lists for Foreign and Physically Challenged Candidates for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the admission lists for foreign candidates and physically challenged candidates for the 2024/2025 academic session. This announcement brings exciting news to those who have been offered provisional admission into various degree programmes at UNN.

How to Check the Admission Lists

The admission for both Foreign Candidates Admission List and Physically Challenged Candidates Admission List candidates are now available online. Candidates can visit the UNN Portal to view the full lists and confirm their admission status.

Step-by-Step Guide for Admitted Candidates

For those who have been offered admission, it is essential to complete all necessary steps to secure your place at the university. Here’s a breakdown of the process:

1. Upload Your O’Level Results:

• Visit a JAMB-approved CBT center to upload your O’Level results.
• Submit proof of the upload and your JAMB CAPS admission status to the UNN Admissions Office. Please note that this step is mandatory for your admission process to continue.

1. Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS:

• Log in to your JAMB CAPS portal and accept the admission offer.
• Candidates who do not accept their admission will not receive a JAMB admission letter.

1. Generate a Payment Invoice:

• Log in to the UNN Portal using your JAMB registration details.
• Generate a payment invoice that includes a Remita number, which you will use for payment at any commercial bank or at the UNN Microfinance Bank.

1. Pay the Acceptance Fee:

• The acceptance fee is N30,000.
• Ensure you use the correct invoice number when making your payment.
• After payment, be sure to collect a confirmation slip with the Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.

1. Print Your Admission Slip and Complete the Acceptance Form:

• Log in to the UNN Portal again with your JAMB registration number, Confirmation Number, and Invoice Number.
• Print your admission slip and fill out the acceptance form.

1. Proceed with Additional Fees and Registration:

• Follow the instructions on the UNN website for paying additional fees and registering for your courses.

Important Information to Note

• Provisional Admission: Your admission is provisional. If you are found to not meet the required qualifications, your admission will be withdrawn.
• Acceptance Deadline: You must accept your admission within two weeks of the announcement. The deadline for accepting the admission offer is Friday, 21st March 2025. Failure to accept by this date will result in forfeiting your admission.
