What to Do After You’re Admitted: Step-by-Step Guide

If your name appears on the list, congratulations! To complete your admission process, follow these simple steps:

1. Upload Your O/Level Results on JAMB Portal

• Go to a JAMB-approved CBT center to upload your O/Level results.
• Afterward, submit proof of the upload and your JAMB CAPS admission status to the Admissions Office.
  Note: Failure to complete this step will result in the non-processing of your admission.

1. Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS

• Log in to your JAMB Portal and click “Accept Admission” to confirm your offer.
• If you do not accept the offer on the portal, you won’t receive an official JAMB admission letter.

1. Generate a Payment Invoice

• Visit the UNN Portal and log in using your JAMB registration details.
• Generate and download a payment invoice with a Remitta number. This will allow you to make the necessary payment at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.

1. Pay the Acceptance Fee

• The acceptance fee is N30,000.
• Ensure that you provide the correct invoice number at the bank.
• Collect a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation number and Invoice number.

1. Print Your Admission Slip and Complete the Acceptance Form

• Log in again to the UNN Portal and enter your JAMB registration number, Confirmation number, and Invoice number.
• Print your admission slip and fill out the acceptance form online.

1. Proceed with Other Fees and Registration

• Follow the instructions on the UNN website for further payments and course registration.

Important Information to Keep in Mind

• Provisional Admission: Please note that your admission is provisional. If it is later discovered that you do not meet the required qualifications, your admission may be revoked.
• Deadline to Accept Admission: You must accept the admission offer within two weeks of the announcement. The final deadline for acceptance is Friday, 7th February 2025.
  Failure to accept your offer by this date means forfeiting your place at UNN.
