University of Lagos Extends Direct Entry Registration Deadline: Don’t Miss Your Chance!

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has exciting news for aspiring students! The deadline for the 2024/2025 Direct Entry (DE) online registration has been extended by two weeks, now set for Friday, November 8, 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for prospective candidates to complete their registration and secure their place at one of Nigeria’s top universities.

What You Need to Know

The Direct Entry Screening for the 2024/2025 academic session is currently open. If you selected UNILAG as your first choice, now is the time to finalize your screening process. This step is essential for all candidates looking to gain admission into any available course at the university.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the UNILAG Direct Entry Screening, you must meet the following criteria:

1. First Choice: You must have chosen UNILAG as your first choice in your 2024/2025 Direct Entry JAMB application.
2. O’Level Requirements: You need to have at least five credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at one sitting.
3. Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old by October 31, 2024.

Important Points for Applicants

• If you won’t be 16 by the deadline, you cannot apply.
• Ensure that all your personal details are consistent across all documents.
• Participation in the online registration is mandatory for admission consideration.
• Former students whose admissions were withdrawn due to poor performance may reapply, but only for a different course.
• Expelled students are not eligible to apply.

How to Apply for the Screening

Eligible candidates should follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the  UNILAG Admissions Page.
2. Select the 2024/2025 Direct Entry (DE) Application.
3. Log In using your Direct Entry Application number as the username and your surname (in lowercase) as the password.
4. Generate and Print the payment advice for the ₦2,000 screening fee.
5. Make Payment at any commercial bank or online.
6. Return to the UNILAG portal to complete the screening form.
7. Upload all relevant results (e.g., First Degree, HND, OND, JUPEB, Cambridge A’ Level).
8. Review your details before submitting the form.
9. Print your Direct Entry e-registration slip.
10. Submit the printed e-registration slip and credentials to the Admission Office, Room 174, Senate House, UNILAG, from October 7 to November 8, 2024.
