University of Ibadan Opens 2024/2025 Scholarship for Indigent Students

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) at the University of Ibadan (UI) is excited to announce the opening of applications for the 2024/2025 indigent students scholarship. This opportunity aims to support financially disadvantaged students who have demonstrated academic excellence.

Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify for the ASUU-UI indigent student scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be an indigent student.
Be a registered student at the University of Ibadan.
Have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 or above.

Write an application letter: The letter should not exceed two pages and must include:

Your full name
Course of study
Year of study
Email address
Phone number
State of origin

Required Documents: Attach the following to your application:

A photocopy of your University ID card
A letter from your Head of Department confirming your CGPA from the previous academic session
A copy of your current registration form
Two recent passport photographs

Submission Instructions:

Submit your completed application in person to the ASUU-UI Secretariat at Mellanby Hall, University of Ibadan. Ensure all documents are properly attached and meet the specified requirements.
