Admission Requirements – Are You Eligible?
To apply for the postgraduate programmes, here are the general and specific entry requirements:
General Requirements:
- At least five (5) credits, including English and Mathematics, in WASC, NECO, or GCE (not more than two sittings).
- For Master’s programmes, a Bachelor’s degree with at least a second-class lower division.
- For PhD programmes, a Master’s degree with a minimum weighted average score of 60% (Grade B).
- For PGD programmes, a third-class degree or HND with lower credit.
Specific Requirements:
- For MPH Community Medicine: An MBBS or BDS degree.
- For MPH Sexual and Reproductive Health: A health-related degree.
- For PhD Candidates: A 500-word research proposal.
How to Apply – Step-by-Step Guide
If you meet the requirements, follow these simple steps to apply:
- Visit the UNIABUJA portal.
- Select “Postgraduate” and fill in your details (surname, first name, email, and phone number).
- Generate an RRR payment code and pay the ₦20,500 application fee through REMITA.
- After payment, return to the portal and complete the application form.
- Submit all necessary documents, including the Transcript Request Form (Form A2), available on the portal.
