University of Abuja Opens Applications for 2025 Postgraduate Programmes – Apply Now!
The University of Abuja is inviting qualified candidates to apply for its 2025 Contact Session, offering a range of prestigious Postgraduate programmes. Interested applicants can apply for the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or pursue a Master of Education (MEd) in various specializations.
Programmes on Offer:
The University provides both Full-Time and Part-Time Master’s Degree (MEd) programmes with durations ranging from 24 to 30 months, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), which is part-time and runs for 18 months.
MEd Programmes:

Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE):
Duration: 18 months (Part-Time)
- Requirement: A First Degree or HND in a teaching subject.
Admission Requirements:
For the Master of Education (MEd) programmes, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of five O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant education field with at least a Second-Class Lower Division.
- Alternatively, candidates with a first degree in any discipline, plus a PGDE from a recognized institution, are also eligible.
For the PGDE programme, applicants must have a First Degree or HND in a teaching subject.
