UNIUYO Announces Supplementary Admission for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has officially opened its Supplementary Admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session, giving UTME candidates who missed out on their initial programmes another chance to secure admission.
In a notice released by the institution, candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025 JAMB UTME and participated in the university’s Post-UTME screening but were not offered admission can now apply for supplementary admission into other available programmes.
The university advised that interested candidates must ensure their UTME and O’Level subject combinations align with the requirements of the new programme they intend to switch to. Change of Course and Registration Schedule
According to UNIUYO management, the JAMB portal for online change of course registration will be open from Monday, October 20, 2025, to Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Applicants are strongly advised to complete their registration within this period, as late applications will not be accepted after the deadline.
Step-by-Step Guide for UNIUYO Supplementary Admission
To successfully complete the UNIUYO Supplementary Admission process, candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit the JAMB Portal and apply for a Change of Course to one of the approved programmes listed in the official UNIUYO advert.
- Upload your O’Level results (WAEC or NECO) correctly on the JAMB CAPS portal through any JAMB-accredited CBT centre.
- Once offered admission, accept it within one week on the JAMB CAPS platform.
Note: Failure to accept the admission offer within the given timeframe will lead to automatic deletion of the admission record and classification under “refusal to accept,” which may affect future admission chances.
