UNIOSUN Announces 2025/2026 Harmattan Semester Exams Starting February 23, 2026

Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has officially announced that the Harmattan Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session will commence on Monday, 23 February 2026. The directive comes via a circular signed by Mrs Atinuke A. Oguntunde, Registrar and Secretary to Senate, from the Directorate of Academic Affairs.

Key Requirements for Exam Participation

According to the circular, students must fulfill both financial and registration obligations to gain access to examination halls:

  • Pay at least 50% of tuition fees before the start of exams.
  • Complete all registration formalities, including course registration.

Only students who meet these requirements will be allowed to sit for the examinations. Those yet to comply are strongly urged to complete payment and registration immediately to avoid denial of entry at exam halls.

Verification of Eligible Students

UNIOSUN will use tutorial lists to verify eligibility, ensuring that only students who are financially compliant and fully registered can participate in the exams. This step is aimed at maintaining fairness and academic integrity across all examination venues.

Distribution of the Notice

The circular has been circulated to all students, the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, and university staff. Additionally, it has been posted on all official university notice boards for public awareness.

Students are advised to plan ahead and ensure all financial and registration obligations are met to avoid disruptions on exam day.
