UNIMED Opens Postgraduate Admission for 2025/2026 Academic Session
Ondo State’s University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED) has officially announced the opening of applications for its postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic year.

General Entry Requirements for UNIMED Postgraduate Admission

- O’Level Requirements: Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or equivalent exams.
For Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
- Graduates of UNIMED or other recognised universities in relevant fields.
- HND holders with at least Lower Credit from recognised institutions.
For Master’s Degree (M.Sc., M.A., MBA):
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Honours in relevant fields.
- Candidates with Third Class or HND (plus a good PGD) may also apply, provided O’Level requirements are met.
For Doctor of Philosophy (PhD):
- Master’s degree holders from a recognised university with a minimum weighted average of 60%.
How to Apply for UNIMED Postgraduate Admission

- Click Admission → Select Postgraduate.
- Tap Apply Here and fill in your details.
- Select your programme and proceed to payment.
Payment Details:
- Application Fee: ₦20,000
- Pay online with MasterCard or Visa card only.
- After payment, you will be redirected to the full application form.
- Print your receipt and use your REG No. and TRANSACTION ID to log back in.
Documents to Upload
Applicants must submit the following:
- Degree certificates or diplomas.
- Academic transcripts (to be sent directly by the issuing institution).
- Three reference letters.
- NYSC discharge/exemption certificate (for Nigerian citizens).
- A 500-word statement of intent in the chosen research area.
